Adverbs of Probability :
There is a group of adverbials that come before the main verb and after the (first) special verb if there is one. They are adverbs of degree and probability.

Meanings :
1. Completely
2. Perfectly
3. Differently
Example Sentences :
1. I am not quite ready to go.
2. You are quite right.
3. If you want to go that is quite right with me.
4. If you have quite finished interrupting, perhaps I can continue.
RATHER : (predeterminer - adverb)
Meanings :
1. to some degree
2. quite
Example Sentences :
1. It is rather cold today.
2. It rather surprised me.
3. I was rather pleased when I won the prize.
PROBABLY : (adverb)
Meanings :
1. Almost
2. certainly
3. certainly
4. according to what is likely
Example Sentences :
1. We are going on holiday soon probably next month.
2. Will you be able to come tomorrow? Probably not.
POSSIBLY : (adverb)
Meanings :
In accordance with what is possible
POSSIBLE : (adjective)
Meanings :
That can exist or happen or be done
Example Sentences :
1. I will do all I possibly can.
2. I can't walk possibly 20 miles an hour.
3. My wife nearly killed herself when she fell off the ladder.
4. She has almost finished making her new dress.
5. I have hardly understood a word you have said.
6. The manager scarcely said a word the whole evening.
7. He just opened the door. He didn't go inside.
8. I only just had enough time to finish the exercise.
9. They have by no means finished the work yet.
10. I was quite naturally in a hurry to go home.
11. I absolutely forbid you to do it.
ABSOLUTELY : (adverb)
Meanings :
1. Completely

1. I trust her discretion absolutely.
2. I am very hungry and I'm absolutely starving.
3. My son charged me saying, "You have completely ruined the house".
4. I am afraid…I was partly to blame for the accident.
