Continual : adjective

Continual refers only to time and implies a close succession or frequent occurrence

Example Sentences :

1. There was continual rain.
2. We were continually interrupted.
3. A contented mind is a continual feast.

Continuous : adjective

Continuous meaning that which is not broken by intervals and uninterrupted

Example Sentences :

1. He worked continuously from morning till night.
2. There is a continuous line of houses - a line of houses having no gaps between them.
