Practical : adjective

Practical is opposed to theoretical. It applies to that which can be actually turned to account.

1. He has a practical knowledge of everything.
2. He was fond of practical jokes.
3. The prevailing practical conditions prevent me from going there.


Practicable : adjective

Practicable meaning feasible that which can be done

1. Your plan was not practicable.
2. Radio communication has proved to be practicable.
3. The solutions he suggests are not practicable ones.
