Prescribe : verb

To prescribe is to direct in writing or to advise the use of a certain medicine for a patient

Example Sentences :

Proscribe : verb

To proscribe is to condemn or to prohibit or to or outlaw

Example Sentences :

3. An intolerant ruler has often proscribed all religious beliefs other than his own.
