Festival of HOLI :

In North India Holi festival is very famous and colourful. By nature, man likes enjoyment. Holi is an expression of joy. It is celebrated at the end of the winter and the beginning of the spring with great joy and enthusiasm. People spend the whole day throwing coloured water on each other and they often use small pumps.

It is celebrated in honour of Lord Krishna. Religious minded people pay visit to Mathura and Vrindavan to see this colourful Holi festival. Rasaleela of Vrindavan is very popular. The people celebrate this festival in honour of Baklta Prahaladha. He was a great devotee of Hari and son of Hiranyakashipu a demon. People were troubled by him Sri Hari as Narasimha killed him.
