Fool and Learned

Fool and Learned :

One day, after settling a case, King Akbar asked Birbal, “Birbal do you know the difference between a fool and a learned man?”

“Yes….Your Majesty. I know it,” replied Birbal.

“Will you explain it in detail?” asked King Akbar.

“Your Majesty, the person who uses his brain in the most difficult and challenging situation without losing control is a learned man. But the person who handles the difficult situation in such a way to hamper the job or worsen the situation at hand is a fool.”

King Akbar had thought that Birbal would say that a literate person was learned but his clever answer strengthened Birbal’s position in King Akbar’s heart once again.
