Future Progressive Tense



Future Progressive Tense :



This tense is used to indicate the action which will occur in the future and continue for a particular length of time.

This tense is also referred to as the Future Progressive Tense.

Format of the sentences with this tense :

Subject + will be + Present Participle (Verb + ing) + an object (singular and plural nouns)

1. Raja will be running a 15 kms marathon this Saturday.
2. Ram will be competing with Kumar in the race.
3. I will be watching Ram and Kumar in the race.
4. I will be making preparations for my exams.
5. It will be feeling good tomorrow.
6. They will be singing a song for the audience.
7. He will be playing football in the play ground.
8. She will be writing a report.
9. They will be planning about his studies.
10. He will be working as an Engineer in that organization.
11. You will be learning new lessons next year.
12. We will be expecting good behavior from you.
13. They will be coming here.

Negative Sentences with this tense :

The format of the Negative Sentences with this tense is….

Subject of the verb + will + not + be + not + verb+ing + object of the verb.

1. Raja will not be running a 15 kms marathon this Saturday.
2. Ram will not be competing with Kumar in the race.
3. I will not be watching Ram and Kumar in the race.
4. I will not be making preparations for my exams.
5. It will not be feeling good tomorrow.
6. They will not be singing a song for the audience.
