Dear Sir,
This is to draw your attention to the hardship caused to the residents of our locality Sardar Patel Nagar by frequent power failure.
Till about a month back, the power cut in our area was mainly during pre-announced hours and the people were able to cope with the situation.But it has become too frequent, erratic and unpredictable.
It is highly impossible to stay at home without fan. Old people and the sick have a terrible time. Pitch darkness, during evening, makes going out a nightmare. Reports indicate the general law and order situation has deteriorated in the area. There are reports of Chain snatching and harassment of ladies by goondas.
The residents of the area have written several letters to the Electricity Suppy Company. But the concerned officials are mum.They have not done anything to solve this problem. I hope the concerned officials will take immediate and appropriate action at least now.
