A Multiple Sentence is one that could be split into three or more sentences.
(A) Men may come and men may go, but I go on for ever.
The above sentence consists of three sentences.
(i) Men may come.
(ii) Men may go.
(iii) I go on for ever.
(B) They are playing and we are chatting, but the teacher is teaching.
The above sentence consists of three sentences.
1. They are playing.
2. We are chatting.
3. The teacher is teaching.
(C) The animals are wandering around the forest and the birds are hovering above, but it is raining.
The above sentence consists of three sentences.
(i) The animals are wandering around the forest.
(ii) The birds are hovering above.
(iii) It is raining.
