Preposition, as we know, is a word that links or connects nouns or pronouns to other words in a sentence. It specifies three things - time, place and direction.

Prepositional Phrase is a group of words that begins with a preposition and ends with
noun or a pronoun. This noun or pronoun is called the
object of the preposition.
